Atlantic City Gambling Revenue Down

Atlantic City’s gambling revenue fell by 12% in September. The City has been struggling since quite some time. It was hit especially hard by the financial crisis and the resulting economic downturn in the US.

Now increased competition from other states is hurting the local casinos. Philadelphia, for instance, has just opened a new casino and Maryland has added more table games this summer.

In addition many are moving away from land-based casino. Playing at a casino online has become very popular and revenue numbers are up.

Online casinos such as CasinoAction.com.es and Casino Classic offer great bonuses and other promotions. Many are choosing to play at a casino online since it is much cheaper and no travel costs are involved. Even land-based casinos are now investing heavily into the online industry to grab a part of that cake.
